The cracking of tiles/stone or a hollow sound on a tiled floor is caused by the cement and sand mixture which doesn’t form a level base to cover the entire tile surface when fixing them. The perfect solution for this is to use CASTLE thin-base adhesives.

CASTLE Tile Adhesive is a factory made single component cementitious dry powder polymer-modified adhesive which is mixed with water or special liquid additive to form a paste, providing problem-free, full variety of tile and natural stone in fresh constructions or complete re-tiling installation. CASTLE thin-base adhesives have high bonding strength allowing the tiles to directly fixed to the substrate.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Mix Adhesive-Water in the ratio of 3:1.
  • Allow mixture to stand 5 to 10 minutes for chemical activated.
  • Apply the paste of “CASTLE Tile Adhesive” with thickness of approx 3mm on surface.
  • Comb the mixture on surface with notched trowel.
  • Place the tiles within 10 minutes of mixing and press firmly with twisting movement.
  • Tap the tiles gently with a wooden block and hammer to ensure complete coverage of the backside of the tiles and to eliminate the possibility of any air voids.
  • Remove excess paste from tiles surface with a damp cloth / sponge.
  • “CASTLE Tile Grout” should be filled in time, 24 hours after fixing of tiles.
